Even though this knife appears to be real, its sharp side is dull. A blood bag is attached to one side of the knife, which contained stage blood, to give the film audience the illusion of the character being killed. There were two knives used in both films. This knife was used during any neck cutting scenes - including the killing of actress Drew Barrymore's character- in the beginning of the first "Scream." |
