Faye Dunaway

"Bonnie And Clyde"

(Warner Bros. - 1967)

This transparent dress was one of the most sensational dresses ever to hit the screen up to this time. It completely changed the way audiences and designers came to accept on-screen fashions.

This film was costume designer Theodora Van Runkle's

first major work. Both Ms. Dunaway and Ms. Van Runkle were nominated for Oscars. "Bonnie and Clyde" won two

of its 10 Academy Award Nominations.
